A Princess’ Haven (Part 1 of 3)

We’ve covered some stunningly beautiful nurseries in our Beautiful Nurseries feature over the last year. We think it’s safe to say now that we’ve established a tradition of sorts. This week’s coverage is of Baby Jennalyn Destiny’s nursery featuring the Aurora Princess Collection in Akoya Grey.

This nursery is all pink and grey with silver and crystal highlights. This well-lit room has pink walls that off-set the pearly grey of the furniture which are further enhanced by the silver and crystal accessories. Taking center-stage is the Aurora Crib. A night-stand and a glider rest against the adjacent wall which also features a tall window. On the opposite wall rests the double-dresser with a changing pad.

Everything in this nursery is about as royal-looking as you can get. The largest accessory is a silver crown over the crib with a Fleur de Lis designed teester and a sheer white canopy. Matching silver Fleur-de-Lis wall sconces have been placed on either side of the crown. The personal touch comes from Jennalyn’s name inscribed in a flowing script over the crib below the crown.

The grey and white rocking chair and additional lighting supplied by a heart  and diamond chandelier as well as a chandelier lamp on the nightstand are the two other functional essentials in this nursery.  A third essential is the white rug laid at the foot of the dresser.

The other princess themed décor items include a large silver mirror over the dresser with small pink and gray quote pictures, a pink flower arrangement inside a carriage on top of the night stand next to the chandelier lamp, a crown and chandelier painting on each side of the window and a mannequin with pearls and feathered skirt in the corner.

This lovely nursery pretty much looks like it popped right out of a fairy tale book. A true little haven for a true little princess.
