Twirl, pirouette, leap! With tutus and ballet-inspired artwork placed ever so thoughtfully, this ballerina nursery is pure MAGIC! And when we say the word ‘magic,’ there really is only one nursery collection that can do justice – the Aurora Nursery Collection from Evolur. Featuring the Aurora 5-in-1 Convertible Crib (Ivory Lace), the Aurora Double Dresser, and the Aurora Chifferobe/Armoire, mom Angela Logosso’s vision-turned-to-reality for her baby girl Sophia Isabella gives us all sorts of nursery goals.

But what really makes us stand up and notice in this feminine and oh-so-elegant ballerina nursery is the choice of colors. It would have been easy to go ‘PINK’ or choose purple or even off white and beige shades. Angela’s choice of blue as the accent color makes this nursery a truly unique space. Go on, little Sophia – it’s time to DANCE!

Colors, patterns, details! Find out how Angela went about creating this dreamy ballerina nursery –

What was your inspiration for the nursery design and décor?

I was inspired by the color blue. I didn’t want to do the traditional pink or beige. I wanted Sophia’s room to be unique.

What drew you to Evolur over other nursery brands?

A few of my friends had Evolur furniture and had nothing but great things to say! I was also drawn to the design of the furniture and styles. The reason why I picked the Aurora collection is the way it made me feel when I looked at it. I automatically saw a little baby girl sleeping in her crib and eventually playing in her room. I got the set that turns into a full-size bed because I would love for the furniture to grow with her. But what really drew me to picking the Evolur brand is the girly, feminine design of the table. The Lacey bow sealed the deal.

What does this color scheme mean to you?

For me, it’s a sense of individuality because I want my daughter to choose her own path and have her own sense of style. I feel like the blue represents being a free spirit, and The gold is timeless. Even her gender reveal was done with purple and orange over the traditional pink and blue.

What one word comes to mind when you step into the nursery?

Elegant

What accessories did you choose and why?

Most of her accessories are handmade by me. I wanted her to have something that she can hopefully pass down to her children one day. I felt that if I made her somethings by heart with emotion attached to it, it would mean something more than having bought something. I hope she feels the love put into every piece.

What is your favorite piece or design element in the nursery?

I would have to say my favorite piece is the Evolur Aurora Armoire. I feel like it’s so dainty and reminds me of beauty and the beast. Along with the bow detail, which is my favorite focus of the piece, it adds such beauty.

Have you thought of how you will use the nursery pieces down the road, and can you tell us?

I plan for my little girl to grow with the furniture. Like I mentioned before I got the full-size bed attachment, so she can keep them throughout her teenage years. It really is beautiful so I can’t see changing the furniture anytime soon. The furniture is a perfect size for her so there will be no problems using it in the future and I cant wait to see the crib transform into a bed as my little girl transforms into a young lady.
