“Hold him a little longer, rock him a little more… He is only a little boy for such a little while.”

Inspired by these words, mom Erin Caspar created a wonderfully peaceful and calming baby boy nursery, in shades of gray and beige, for her little fella Wyatt Cullen Caspar.

Wyatt’s baby boy nursery is decorated on the lines of a wilderness theme. A moose wall hook, a couple of arrows and a bear head as wall decor and an animal print crib sheet give the nursery a wilderness vibe, softly and in an understated fashion. Erin picked the Evolur Santa Fe 5-in-1 Convertible Crib and Double Dresser in Storm Grey for Wyatt’s nursery. With its subtle dentil moulding and classic lines, the Santa Fe Nursery Collection is simply perfect for this calming and tranquil, wilderness-themed baby boy nursery. A glider, a small side table and floor lamp complete this relaxing nursery.

What was your inspiration for the nursery design and décor?
We didn’t want the nursery to be too “loud” – we wanted it to be neutral and mellow. I decided pretty early on that I wanted to do a wilderness theme, and my husband was totally on board!

What drew you to évolur over other nursery brands?
Evolur stood out to us due to it’s elegant detailing.

Did the room pose any design challenges?
The nursery is a smaller room, therefore all of the furniture in the room felt a bit tight at first, but not for long.

Did you and your spouse agree on style, or did you blend styles and how?
We were both very drawn to Evolur’s furniture equally. We agreed on the Storm Gray crib and dresser because we felt white is too over-done. We also felt the gray matched the nursery theme better.

What does this color scheme mean to you?
Our nursery is very neutral – beige, gray, white, some brown/bronze accents, and some navy blue. We love the laid back feel of our neutral nursery and feel it provides a calming environment.

What is your favorite piece or design element in the nursery?
My favorite piece in the nursery is the sign hanging above his crib. It is a reminder every day to slow down and enjoy every moment with my rapidly growing baby boy.

Have you thought of how you will use the nursery pieces down the road and can you tell us?
It was important to us to get good quality nursery furniture that would last us a long time. We love that our Evolur Santa Fe crib is a 5-in-1 and will transition with our little guy as he grows up.

What one word comes to mind when you step into the nursery?
If I had to choose one word that comes to mind when entering the nursery, I would have to say tranquility. Not only for me, but for Wyatt. It’s usually our calming zone and provides so much relaxation for all of us. Sometimes a little too much – Dad has been known to fall asleep in the rocker

Why did you pick Evolur?
We picked evolur because of it’s stunning detail and amazing quality.
