Every day is a great day. Full of promise. But some days are better than great. These are the days that we live and breathe for. The kind of days that encapsulate everything we do. We had one such day recently, courtesy Jersey Cares.
On the 18th of November, we got to visit the Ozanam Family Shelter and spend the day creating Bundle of Joy kits for expectant moms. These contained blankets, diapers, wipes, feeding bottles and a myriad of other necessary baby items. And not just that. Oh no! We also put together – assembled – a set of baby furniture for their nurseries – cribs, strollers and highchairs.

The Ozanam Family Shelter provides emergency shelter services to homeless families. The shelter is open to all families regardless of race, color, creed, age or sex. Ozanam’s mission is to provide homeless families with a quality shelter for emergency situations without charge on a first come first served basis.
